During 2019, Blondie was invited to perform in Havana, Cuba as part of a cultural exchange through the Cuban Ministry of Culture. This was a 40-year ambition come especially for songwriter & guitarist Chris Stein, who had longed to visit Cuba for most of his life. Artist and director Rob Roth documented this special moment and career highlight by shooting a short film titled ‘Blondie: Vivir En La Habana’. Released in July 2021 on limited edition pale blue vinyl to accompany the film which will feature throughout 2021 in many prominent film festivals inc. the Tribeca Film Festival.
