On August 30, Rhino reissued Chicago’s self-titled debut album, CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY, digitally and on CD…and before you complain, yes, it was self-titled, because that’s what the band was calling itself at the time. The version of the album that was reissued was the so-called 50th Anniversary Remix , one which was handled by mixing engineer Tim Jessup under the watchful eyes – and, one presumes, the listenful ears – of the band, and now that remix is also available as a double-LP on 180-gram vinyl. ― www.rhino.com
