Like many people locked down in quarantine during 2020, John Fogerty decided to embark on a homespun project with his family. In his case, he decided to teach his three youngest children — Shane, Tyler, and Kelsy — how to play a bunch of the songs he wrote over the years. Fogerty’s Factory is a newly recorded album of stripped back tracks from legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist JOHN FOGERTY. All tracks were recorded during the lockdown of summer 2020 by John and his family; including his sons Shane and Tyler (who together are the band Hearty Har) and daughter Kelsy. These versions of classic tunes have featured on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert and Sirius XM, with this being the first time any of them are available on CD and LP. The first track, “CENTERFIELD,” was recorded on the Field at Dodger Stadium to celebrate John’s 75th Birthday. Recorded at Red Rock Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on June 20th, 2019, as part of John Fogerty’s nationwide U.S. tour celebrating 50 years since Creedence Clearwater Revival performed at Woodstock Festival in 1969. The album includes live John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival classics including “Proud Mary,” “Fortunate Son,” “Bad Moon Rising” and “Centerfield” along with live favorites “Suzie Q” and “I Heard It Through the Grapevine.” This release will be supported by screenings of the JOHN FOGERTY – 50 YEAR TRIP – LIVE AT RED ROCKS on Veteran’s Day 2019 at over 500 movie theatres, nationwide, in coordination with Fathom Events.
